Prepare the mint syrup

In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water.

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Remove from heat and add the fresh mint leaves. Let the syrup cool for 10-15 minutes, allowing the mint flavor to infuse.

Strain the syrup to remove mint leaves and set it aside.

Juice the lemons
